Biography
Ruth Torres earned her Ph. D. with a concentration in Curriculum & Instruction and Computer Science at NMSU. Most recently, she's been working as a post doctoral researcher on the NSF-funded Math Snacks Early Algebra series of games, particularly on ways to use them with teachers as the main facilitators in the classroom. Ruth will also start helping to manage the websites for Mathematically Connected Communities (MC²) and the STEM Outreach Center.
