Prior to joing MC2, Allie Conway worked at a K-8 public charter school in Las Cruces where she was a “math department of one” for the middle school program, teaching sixth, seventh, and eighth grade math classes. Allie started her career in bilingual education and taught kindergarten for several years in a dual-language program before jumping into fifth grade and the wonderful world of middle school. She enjoys the opportunity to help design professional learning opportunities and collaborate with teachers from all over New Mexico. Allie graduated in 2003 from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Political Science and Spanish, and from NMSU with an MA in Curriculum and Instruction in 2008, with a specialization in Bilingual Education. She was also part of the LIFT program through MC2 and NMSU from 2011-2013.
