Plane Math Visit this Web site to find mathematics lessons, group activities, links to other sites, and information for teachers and parents of physically disabled students in grades 4-7. The project is designed to motivate students with physical disabilities to pursue aeronautics-related careers by providing accessible math education materials on the Internet.

Paso Partners -- This resource is designed to help teachers organize their classrooms and instructional activities in order to increase achievement of Hispanic primary-grade children whose first language is not English. The guide offers a curriculum plan, instructional strategies and activities, suggested teacher and student materials, and assessment procedures. Each unit plan is in Spanish as well as English.

SMILE Program The Science and Math Investigative Learning Experiences (SMILE) Program is a partnership between Oregon State University and eight rural Oregon school districts to provide science and math enrichment for minority and disadvantaged students in grades 4-12.

Campbell of Campbell-Kibler Associates has been doing research and evaluation to increase gender and race equity in math, science and technology education. Results of her work can be found in the following "user friendly" brochures and pamphlets on this site.

Equity Checklist for the Standards-Based Classroom - This checklist can be used as a tool to help teachers reflect on and improve their classroom practices.

Expect the Best from a Girl. That's What You'll Get Prepared by the Women's College Coalition, Mount Holyoke College. Links to 11 topics: five links to things parents can do (at home, school, about math and science, science questions to ask your daughter, and future careers); three links to resources; one titled "surprising but true," and two more.

Voices of Girls in Math, Science and Technology Voices of Girls is a three-year program sponsored by NSF's Experimental Programs for Women and Girls, and Appalachia Educational Laboratory (AEL). This program is an effort to help rural and urban middle school Appalachian girls make their voices heard in science and mathematics education.
