star PUMAS -- Practical Uses of Math and Science is a collection of one-page examples of how math and science topics taught in K-12 classes can be used in interesting settings, including everyday life. star Interactive Math Tools from NCTM Illuminations are Java applets you can use to explore math and create interactive lessons. See our i-Math Investigations for examples of lessons that use some of these tools. (You can find college-level interactive math tools in the Mathematical Association of America's online journal, JOMA.)
