New
Mexico First Town Hall on Higher Education
Register for the New Mexico First Town Hall /Today's Students, Tomorrow's
Workforce: A Town Hall on Higher Education. New Mexico First has a long
tradition of hosting town halls which have a direct impact on public
policy decisions, and so we expect that this event will point the direction
for New Mexico's higher education system in the next decade.
The town hall will be held April 20 - 22, 2006 at The Lodge at Santa
Fe. While state officials and experts will speak at various points
during the event, the vast majority of the town hall happens with citizens
discussing pivotal questions in facilitated small groups, working to
discover points of consensus.
Download this PDF of our registration
brochure which contains all the details you'll need to know about the
event -- dates and times, speakers, location, and what can be expected
during the town hall.
This event is open to the public, though registration is required and
only a limited number of participants can be accommodated. Register
online at http://www.nmfirst.org/.
